Jobie (the manger) is a thief and an unethical person. 1. I gave him 60.00 to do the yard maintenance. There was never anything to do, it has been dirt the entire time I had the spot. He keep claiming they were going to put down sod, but never did. He keep my money and never did anything. 2. He gave me a 11.22 bill for electrical overage. The problem is that I occupied the spot for 3 days during the time period (September 26-October 25) he is claiming that there was electrical overage. I find it impossible to use that much electricity in 3 days. Something funny is going on there with this… Stay away from this place, the water pressure is horrible, and the other RVS there are old and trashy…

A great park. We had a situation where we desperately needed to stay in this area. Husband having heart surgery. The managers there were extremely nice and accommodating. Park is small but well maintained and clean. Would recommend to anyone in need .This park used to have a seedier reputation but not anymore. Great turn around managers and owners. Thanks alot.

After four years of residing here, I had enjoyed the park, for the most part. Trailer Parks come with Drama occasionally. But now, as the new management attacks me for my temporary financial situation, they have turned 290$ in late rent into over $1000 in fees. They have thrice in 2020 increased the rate of rent, committing a corporate felony each time. There were to be no rent increases in the nation or the state during the pandemic. Having been a person in a rather low demand field throughout this whole thing, every day is filled with anxiety as I try to recover the loses in my life. While the previous Manager of many years, Natasha, (whom was a god sent angel,) had never made me feel anything but at home here.. (and would have happily worked with me, or let me work it off in maintenance work - she wouldn't have set out on a quest to leave me homeless) these days the place is a quick money grab from anyone they can. The current clusterf*ck of management they have installed has no concept of family, doesn't EVER tell you to the truth, and in my case is quite determined to threaten to tow off my camper - an action at this point which would place them well on the wrong side of the law. Furthermore, they refuse to accept any form of partial payment, determined to put this on my credit report for not moving away. Corona-Related Landlord orders, especially applying to large group dwellings, requires that the landlord works with the tenant when they are trying to get caught up. The company managing this park (or should I say, Theresa, the one woman task force making everything miserable here) literally retroactively added late fees from years that they weren't even here to be managing the place. I have been through four managers in the last quarter. I cannot even afford to repair my own vehicle, they have bled me dry of every bit of "stimulus" money I ever received, and I am now being told to pay near 500$ a month to live IN MY OWN CAMPER. Would love to get away from here. The campground across the interstate is now EVERETT car dealership, a local business whom displaced 400 families with very little, sometimes only a few days, prior warning. There are a few mom and pop 2-4 lot "parks" around the town, but other than that, I have had nothing but dreadful experience finding somewhere else to move to. This year took me down from opening a small business to frankly needing to walk around with a small box begging for nickels, yet I didn't fall behind on anything until a few months ago. After the treatment I have received here, under the corporation "Cedar Hill Investments" (whom, by the way, is behind two years on their taxes to the Secretary of State, and makes a bloody filthy profit off of the 60+ units they have crammed into this tiny back yard worth of a "Park") I hope they find themselves thoroughly audited. I have four different financial summations, the records of my payments and totals due, ENTIRELY DIFFERENT numbers on each, every month doctored to their own will. Were I you, knowing how financially stable a person generally is when they have to seek refuge in an RV Park for years on end, I would do anything to stay the **** away from "Oak Forest Village."

Hopefully the new manager is better than the last. The last one said she would prorate for the week late i checked in never did. Discussed it with replacement manager. Lol she pocketed the extra money. Took months to fix the power to my site ruined my computer. God Willing it will get better.
