I didn't stay in a "room" which you could assume is a cabin here, although I've had friends stay in them before and they are very nice. I was a last minute pull in right at closing time but that didn't matter to these folks! I also have a long rig with a trailer I couldn't drop making me doubly difficult. They walked the site to measure off and helped me squeeze into one all with smiles and awesome attitudes!! I liked this place before but now I love it. There's a great doggy park, a playground and they also have a shuttle to take you into town if you need it. I highly recommend this KOA. I will definitely be back!

First time visiting Hot Springs and the National Park (11/7/2022), we would recommend this KOA for smaller rigs and not for big rigs due to all the hills and sharp turns. We have a new 40-foot River Ranch which the style of this camper is unique as tall as a semi and the trees and turns are a bit of an issue at this place. It was gorgeous and well taken care of once we got into our spot, but very tricky getting in and out. Watch the driveway coming into the campground and make sure to swing wide. If a low profiled rig be aware that you might scrap coming in or going out, as you can tell this occurs often based on the scraps in the asphalt.

Sites are relatively level with decent amount of room between you and the neighbors. Roadways are a little tight if in a larger rig but the staff is friendly and helpful when first navigating to your assigned site and getting set up. Bathrooms and showers are readily accessible and trash can scattered around the park are quite handy. This is our second trip to Hot Springs KOA and will definitely choose them again if we decide to return in the future.

I do not want to give it this low of a rating because it is a beautiful park, HOWEVER, we stayed in the studio cabins, and the beds were absolutely awful! They were hard, and they felt like sleeping on plywood. (I know, it's a cabin rental, so I was not expecting high quality, but SOME quality is appreciated for the money we spent, over $400 for 3 nights.) The door lock was broken so we had to fight every time to get in. The window screens were bent and allowed wasps to build nests inside the cabin.
Don't get me wrong, the park is beautiful! Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice little shop. Can buy wood for your fire pit. But those beds... just awful, honestly kinda ruined our weekend.

I'm not sure how to rate this particular KOA. It was below par for KOA. Some of the staff was nice. The pool was closed even though it was advertised as open. The deluxe cabin was so slanted that even the bathroom door had to be propped open with a rock. I arrived to find the toilet clogged and when I asked to leave early due to the closed pool (91 degree day) I was told I was late for checkout. I had only just discovered the pool was closed. There was one kind office member, but the other one left room to be desired. If this were my first KOA stay, it would have been my last. I normally leave positive reviews on Google, but I've got nothing here...
