So very happy!!! The new camp hosts are excellent (Heather and Bobby). They told us all about Eureka Springs and things to do there. They are so nice and polite. The park is beautiful. We will be back. If I could do more than 5 stars I would. Thanks for making out trip so amazing!!

Honest review here. We had a good time overall camping here from 6/21-6/23. The other campers were nice and pleasant to be around. Pets, kids, older, younger. They’re all here.
There is an ok shower and bathroom. The bathroom is free but the shower costs “tokens” which you pay for at the kiosk or “guard shack” as I call it. The attendants didn’t act they they really cared if we were there or not but they had our placard ready for us. Just don’t try the office phone when you need ice or when the woman’s shower isn’t working because they aren’t going to answer after 5:00pm. They also sell a bundle of wood which we avoided due to the piles of logs and sticks they push up and away from the water.
The place was well kept. Trash cans here and there with a dumpster, grass was mowed, not too many bugs but we saw a centipede on the tent and had no fleas or ticks at our spot #5. Here, there was a fire pit, charcoal grill, water spigot, a catalpa tree to set our tent under and stairs that lead to the river. Parking at #4-#6 sucks because you have to drive right next to the water and a very sloped hill/ retaining wall the also doubles as the community boat ramp driveway. You had to park at a steep angle in at least #5 to let the other vehicles through.
Have you seen that S13ep12 of South Park where the bikers move into town? That’s what you’re gonna hear the whole time you’re camping in spots #4-#6. Bikers. Everywhere. Which I don’t blame them. It’s gotta be nice. Hwy 254 goes to Eureka Springs which is a biker destination and you’re at the entrance to the campground so vehicles with and without boats will be driving past you so be prepared to bring earplugs if it’s gonna bother you.
The water wasn’t too cold or too hot at this time. Plenty of room to swim. Not very much sediment. The bottom was packed in pretty good and the current was almost non existent. Great views of the manor and the Little Golden Gate Bridge.
I’d come back for sure.

We ended up here by chance and so glad it worked out that way. The gentleman at the gate was very nice and accommodating for us. The park manager even invited us over for a bonfire with s’mores. The park was quiet and kind, but it was also freezing out so can’t speak on how it is in warmer weather. The views were beautiful and we can’t wait to return with warmer weather to play in the river.

Beautiful spot. Very well kept up with. Fish weren’t biting for anyone. But that’s the name of the game. Only downfall was #13’s water was abnormally lengthy away from the site. Normal length of supply line 50’ would not reach for us. Awhile having sewer hooked up. Would be fine for a unit with tanks I bet. Definitely swill stay again and have already recommended it to my family with an RV.
