This place is fantastic! I move around allot for the railroad and I've stayed at countless RV parks, some good, some bad. This place is by far the best park I've stayed at. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The park itself is easy to find and is very well kept. The owners take pride in their park and they actually care about each person that comes to stay with them. They let you know that you can call them anytime if you need anything. The park is very quiet and they have laundry facilities on the property. Several spots are shaded and some even have picnic tables and fire pits. The water is clean and the electricity has been very stable. The price is very fair and reasonable. Also, the area around the park has some really good restaurants and your not far from Searcy if you need a Lowe's or Walmart. Talk to Mr. Barnes if you need good recommendations on anything from food to RV maintenance shops or pretty much anything else, he'll always help and have an entertaining story or two to tell. Also, don't be surprised when you get waves and smiles from other residents there. Everyone I've encountered has been very friendly and cheerful. I highly recommend Barnes R.V. & Mobile home park, whether you need to stay a night, week or a few months, you will be treated with the exact same respect by the owners. A++ service!!
Loved it! The lady (assuming Mrs. Barnes) on the phone was super nice when we were making last minute reservations from the road. When we got there, (assuming Mr. Barnes) was also super nice. He showed us a couple of different sites, so we had our choice. He was so helpful with everything, and great sense of humor. I also rec'd a solar dryer! 😀
Very nice people! Quiet atmosphere and very clean park, definitely the best one in the area! We come at least once a year.
This was a fun place to stop overnight on our drive between Eureka Springs Arkansas and Red Bay Alabama. The gentleman that checked us in took the time to tell us a bit about the history of the town and also gave us a solar powered dryer - lol (see picture). Loved the humor. We were also given a great restaurant recommendation for Who Dat Cajun food. Loved this memorable stop in our travels 💜
Update; June 2023… I am planning on going through Bald Knob in the next 6 weeks or so. As soon as I know the exact dates, I will call for a reservation. My mom will be with me this time. I can’t wait to introduce her to the Barnes’. They left such a positive impression on me. The nicest folks… ever! Southern hospitality is alive and well in Bald Knob AR. The owners are the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. Saying they go above and beyond is an understatement. The RV spaces are shady, clean, quiet and safe. I’m only traveling through, but if I ever get back to this area, I will most definitely stop. Hopefully spend more than just one night next time.
